The idea behind this program was to generate small messages for a treasure hunt, such as "look under the chair", and have it turned into a "secret" code.
If you want to generate a page to look up the codes, just "cut 'n' paste" this:

and click on "Generate code page" to generate a page for each type of message.
Some notes about semaphore:
The images you print are as if you are looking at the sender.
The exclamation mark, !, has special significance, as it signals the start of a message.
The numbers are the same as the first 11 letters of the alphabet;
if you want to start sending numbers, you should type "#" "space" then start the numbers, and press "j" "space" to signal letters again.
If you are practising with two people, after the sender has sent
the 'attention' signal, they should wait for the receiver to show "c", ready,
before starting the message.
For the simple numbers to letters code, where a = 1 etc, I have used letters for numbers, so the number 1 = a etc.
