We went to the Isle Of Wight, where we had alternate good and bad weather days. We did manage to get the boat out to see the Needles, and see one red squirrel. The house we stayed in had one good features, it was within walking distance of Cowes, so that gave us something to do on the wet days.
And spent a few days at Ashe Farm in Somerset, including a trip to Cricket St Thomas to see how it had changed over the years.
